WebJul 1, 2014 · Well at 13 weeks I was told my nub was girly by a trained US tech and at 20 weeks that my baby was a girl. My ultrasound tech actually introduced me to the nub theory. This was confirmed at delivery. Now this doesn't mean that your baby may not end up being a boy, it just means you still have a 50/50 chance at either gender at this stage.
